Michigan Graduated Drivers License
The most dangerous time for a teenager to drive is the first 500 miles behind the wheel. Michigan wisely adopted the Graduated Drivers License (GDL) to reduce teen fatalities. As a result, anyone under 18 must fulfill two segments of driver education, three levels of driver licensing, and a road test in order to receive an unrestricted drivers license.
